Successful on air evening

Monday Evening saw a successful on-air evening with our first trial of 4m vhf.

John G4EDX brought his Anytone AT-779B, a very compact 70MHz transceiver, and a recently built ladderline Slim-Jim antenna (design by M0UKD). Contacts were made with Melton Mowbray and Derby.
Additional Antennas, of the same design were also brought along by Robin G4NDM and myself, G1GBO.
Tea, Coffee and biscuits helped the evening along. A big welcome to Alan, M6FLQ.
