Aside

Please note we have a special guest speaker on 19th June, Mervyn G4KLE, who will be talking about the National Radio Centre, which will be an up coming trip the club will be arranging.

Mervyn has been giving several talks to clubs including one on the radio systems used by the British Special Forces (Mervyn used to be in the special forces!) and also hints and tips on going portable which I have heard has been excellent!

So please make sure you can attend and don’t miss out!

This is the Ideal opportunity to get our club back on the air from our new QTH

The 5th of June is the eve of a match at Trent Bridge for Cricket World Cup

As this is a Club event ALL LEVELS OF LICENSEE MAY OPERATE.

We are planning to operate Portable from the Car Park at the rear of the club,

Using a caravan used by Derbyshire Dales Raynet.

We have been allocated the slot for this date from 17.00 UTC to 22.00 UTC

It is expected to operate at least two HF stations, but if conditions and logistics permit it would be great to operate more.

We can operate multiple bands, frequencies, and modes.

You can find more details of this great event on the RSGB website
